The AML Amigos – the official support group of the AML Foundation

FORMED IN 2007, THE AML AMIGOS HAVE 4 IMPORTANT GOALS:

° To be ambassadors for adoption in the community
° To help educate the community about adoption
° To raise funds for the AML Family Building Fund
° To be advocates for adoption

This passionate group of volunteers is dedicated to making a difference in the area of adoption in New Mexico. From attending various adoption support groups and speaking on behalf of AML to leading unique and inspiring fund raising gatherings like The Power of 100 Women event.

The AML Amigos are critical to sharing AML’s vision, mission, and message across the state of New Mexico.

AML AMIGOS ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE:

Officers – Members annually elect a chair, vice-chairs, a secretary and a treasurer
Dues – No dues are required to belong to the AML Amigos. An annual contribution to The AML Foundation, however, is encouraged, along with a commitment to actively support the purpose of the Amigos.
Meetings – Held quarterly. Monthly meetings are also held for Officers.
