Adoption Means Love is located in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

The AML commitment:
Eliminating societal myths that prevent people from opening their hearts to adoption
Instilling pride in persons of adoption
Providing financial support for families who want to adopt but cannot afford the up-front cost of adoption

Who We Serve
The AML Foundation serves:
All adoptable children, no matter their race, nationality, gender, age, or ability
Families who desire to adopt yet struggle to afford the cost of domestic and international adoption
The adoption triad (child, adoptive parent, birth parent) in order to support positive adoptions



About the Founder, Michelle Madrid-Branch

Michelle Madrid-Branch is author of two critically acclaimed books on adoption: The Tummy Mummy and Adoption Means Love: Triumph of the Heart. (See Adoption Tribe Publishing).  Honored for her work in adoption, Michelle has been called a, “World voice for adoption,” by Adoption Australia magazine. In 2006, she was a recipient of the Governor’s Award for Outstanding New Mexico Women, as well as one of two inductees into the New Mexico Women’s Hall of Fame. In 2004, she was presented with the Congressional Angels in Adoption Award. Michelle’s story and work, on behalf of adoption, have been featured in Woman’s Day Magazine and other national/international publications.
